Bird List from Sweetwater Farms
by Romney Bathurst
We had 5 new-comers, including 3 visitors, plus Brock, Michelle, Pat & Romney. In our brief 1.5 hour walk, and despite considerable recent activity due to the Joy Garden Tour & shops, we managed 24 species! Weather was perfect, a few birds were scoped and I think everyone enjoyed this short outing. The newly fledged birds were a definite hit, as were a large number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds and a perched, preening Hairy Woodpecker.
